REGULAR MEMBERSHIP in the 14th Cavalry Association is open to all troopers who served with, or in units attached to, any of the following organizations:
14th Cavalry Regiment (Horse) in the period 1901 to 1942Lifetime membership dues are $140. Annual membership dues are $14. Contributions, in addition to dues, to help fund the objectives and operations of the Association will be greatly appreciated. The objectives are to:
14th Cavalry Group during World War II
14th Constabulary Regiment in Germany in the early post war years
14th Armored Cavalry Regiment in the period 1948 to 1972 and the
14th Cavalry Squadrons (RSTA) 15 Sept 2000 to date.
Membership application form for all past and present veterans of the regiment, its squadrons, and attached units who do not qualify for Awarded Membership defined below is here. The form can be filled in online and then printed (preferred), or it can be printed and filled in by hand.
If you have a friend who has served in the regiment or an attached unit who doesn't have access to the internet, please print a copy of this flyer/application form and send it to him.
AWARDED MEMBERSHIP in the 14th Cavalry Association is open to all combat veterans meeting the following criteria:
1-Yr Annual Membership: open to any soldier serving or having served in a combat zone (Iraq) with the 14th Cavalry or attached unit.
3-Yr Annual Membership: open to any soldier wounded in action meeting the criteria of AR 600-8-22 while a member of the 14th Cavalry or attached unit.
Life Membership: open to any soldier whose wounds received in a combat zone while a member of the 14th Cavalry or attached unit result in medical retirement or separation from the service.
Applications for Awarded Membership may be submitted by individuals meeting
the above criteria or by a unit officer or senior NCO on the recipient's behalf
by submitting the completed
online form. Forms may
be filled in online or by hand. Information from the completed
forms may be e-mailed by clicking on the submit button and following the
subsequent instructions, or you can print the completed form and mail it to 14th Cavalry Association PO Box 8034 Lacey, WA
98509-8034 . If submitted by e-mail a signature is not required.
Membership cards will be mailed to your mailing address as shown on the form.
Annual memberships may be renewed at the end of the awarded period upon payment
of the regular membership dues.
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP is open to spouses, widows and widowers of
troopers who served in one of the above listed organizations of the 14th
Cavalry. There are no dues for this membership. Applicants may use
the same
form as regular membership applicants.
Note: there are no dues for Associate Members.
