Before you scroll down take a hard look at these troopers and see if you can tell what "kind" of platoon this was. Hint: it was not a recon or tank platoon.
Although there is no sign of grease,
cosmoline, burns or bruises to be seen on any of
these troopers they are members of the Maintenance Platoon, 2nd
Squadron,
14th ACR (1960-64) and they maintain that they can still find and fix
in short order any second echelon
problem that might ail an M48A3 or an M60. They also
report that the battalion guidon that sort of "went away" after
the squadron guidons were raised in 1960 is is good hands and well
cared for. Their latest reunion took place in Dearborn, MI on 8
October
