This photo was taken from the "artillery" side of the parade ground
looking southeast toward the high ground on which the airfield and training area were located.
On the right you should recognize the building which housed our messhalls.
It is has been converted to commercial offices.
In the center at greater distance stands the old NCO club, now a city police station.
All other buildings of the original kaserne have been razed.
They will be replaced by new office buildings such as the one at left.
